Nope, that isn't it.  My available cache area has not dipped below the 700 -  
800 Meg. size, in all this time.  
 
I bought one of those cd lens cleaning kits quite some time ago (special cd +  
cleaning fluid), but have never actually used it.  Has anyone ever had a need  
for this, and did it make a difference ?  (Improvement, hopefully.)
