Incorrect. I have NO MyEbay page (which I gather is a sort of *optional*
Personal START page one can establish within their system), have *never* had one,
never used one.
Let's say there is an auction I happen to be bidding on. I have to login to
place a bid. Just doing this will cause one to trip over the same problem Martin
and others have described -- the Ebay "can't automatically redirect" /
extra-step(s) required nonsense. {And let me tell you, if this happens at the
wrong time, you are screwed. The extra steps and extra seconds required to jump
over this hurdle can cause you to lose on what might otherwise be the winning
bid, near the close of an auction !} I have found out that it DOES NOT MATTER if
you had Cookies turned ON at start of session and happened to have previously
logged in -- this problem STILL occurs. That should not be.
> But before you login, you are unknown
And you are still unknown afterward, as I've indicated above. The one thing I
don't know yet is whether this behavior still occurs with recent versions of MS
Internet Exploiter or with Opera.
