I think this will be a really good web site once it is finished.  There is  
nothing on serial communications (COM) as yet which is what I am interested in.  
Still have no idea what the difference is between USBSER and USBCOM.  USBCOM  
was installed by eCS, I downloaded USBSER and install it.  I do not think I  
need USBCOM but have not tried removing it as things are working now.  
 
In any case for those that are interested I have a Belkin F5U109 USB to serial  
adapter working to an external modem (the driver being used is USBSER).
