We don't have that sizable a membership here on this List, or a particularly high
volume of message traffic, but whenever there is a 12 - 24 hr. span of NO messages at
all (as has been the case several times over the past few weeks, at the very least), it
is highly suspicious on its face, and highly suggestive of an outage of some sort.
Carla has told me that there have been a number of times when the server had to be
completely reset, and that the problem overall is worse and more complicated than is
generally known. (I hope I'm not telling tales out of school here . . . . ) It is not
externally obvious at Sundial when a problem is occurring with the server: but for our
reports of a problem, you should not assume that they know !
