I have one NTFS partition on my hard drive.

OS/2 Warp has no problem reading (and writing) to this partition using
ntfs.ifs.

eCS, using the same ntfs.ifs, cannot read this partition, and during
shutdown it gives a trap e error in module NTFS.

In OS/2 Warp, the config.sys entry is:

IFS=X:\OS2\NTFS.IFS /Q /V

In eCS the config.sys entry is:

IFS=X:\ECS\BOOT\NTFS.IFS /RO:*

When I attempt to read the ntfs directory, I get an error message: "Drive
was improperly stopped. Run chkdsk with the /F parameter."

Dfsee shows no problems with the ntfs partition.

I tried changing the config.sys entry to match the one in Warp (change
/RO:* to /Q /V), but it didn't make any difference.

Any ideas why this would be a problem for eCS using the same drive in the
same computer?

Thanks,
Sandy
