OK. That says your Mozilla install is working like everyone else's. You
might get a slight improvement by updating to v1.8a3, but the problem
still exists in the v1.8a3 version.

There's some code in the OS/2 build that needs to be optimized. With
luck, the folks doing the OS/2 builds will track it down. They are
interested because it is an interesting problem. Unfortunately, they lack
both time and in depth knowledge of the Mozilla sources, so this may take
a while.
