When you create an "outgoing server" there are several types, one being
authSMTP, which should work (unless they are using something strange from MS).
See HELP "Polarbar Settings" - "Outgoing Mail Servers". My ISP ignores the
authSMTP, I have to use pop before send when I am traveling.

The reason for the long delay between releases is because they are working on a
major change. One of the new features is to be a macro language. Another is
automatic aging for all the folders. For example all the folders will be able
to be aged with either a number of items to keep or an expiration in a given
number of days. In the current release only the TRASH folder is automatically
aged. I am waiting very impatiently because I need both of those features.
