It's really not my scheme, per se. It's mostly similar to:

Usr is not per user. Home is. Usr is for sharable, platform dependent
stuff.

I use \apps for WarpIn packages that prefer it. It is really equivalent
to \usr.
My standard for a good organization is that I can find things when I want
without excessive thinking or hunting.
