Martin,
Your post reminded me that I hadn't registered, either.
Here's what I did:
1. I tried to print from OOO114, and sure enough, I couldn't. Also,
just like you, I couldn't make anything happen by choosing Help ->
Registration.
2. I went to Mensys, logged in, and obtained my product key (from the
place labeled "Serialnumbers").
3. I then went to the place where I had unzipped OOO114EN.ZIP (on my
computer, that was F:\OOO114EN), and executed INSTALL.EXE. (I again
chose to have Java available to OOO.)
4. When the Install detected that I had already installed the product
in F:\OpenOffice114, I said I wanted to "repair" the installation.
After some activity, the install program said the product was repaired,
and I clicked on the "Exit" button.
5. Up came the Registration dialog! I entered the Name, E-mail
address, and Key as I had copied them from the Mensys site, and now, I
am registered.
6. As proof, I went back into OOO, and printed the doc which I couldn't
print earlier.
So, there is a way, just not the way that OOO said to use. My guess is
that Help -> Registration would work if we were running under Windows.
