Steven,
Here are my testing steps:
1. Open an OS/2 Window, set the drive to F:, and CD \WVGUI.
2. Enter command "video2 \user\zip\collegehumor.162323.wmv".
Result: WarpVision shows two windows, one for playing (I assume),
and one for control (I also assume). Then, I get two error messages:
Cannot init video (and I press OK)
Error start last played file (and I press OK)
Afterwards, I close Warpvision.
3. Enter command "video2 \user\zip\yo_yo_ma_m480.mov"
Result: I see the same two windows, and I get one error message:
WarpOverlay error:incorrect parameter (and I press OK)
WarpVision windows close by themselves, leaving me back in the OS/2 Window.
As I said yesterday, I think I read that this version could play some
forms of .WMV files, but the first test case and error message make me
wonder.
In the second test case, it appears to me that I might have some setup
to do somewhere; I just don't know where. And I don't have any idea
what the "correct parameter" might be, since I haven't stumbled across
useful documentation yet.
Thanks,
Colin
