The .WMV is at
http://www.collegehumor.com/movies/162323/
(I wish I knew how to make this into a link - I'm in Mozilla).
I doubt that either of us really wants to see the video; supposedly it
shows a police officer using a Taser, which doesn't sound funny to me.
I looked at the WVGUI.INF again, and unzipped the Windows Codecs into
the F:\ODIN\SYSTEM32 directory. That is all I could see needed doing
when I searched the document for ODIN.
I replayed the .MOV video, and this time, the colors were much better.
(I don't know if installing the codecs had anything to do with this.) I
also figured out (Duh!) that the "maximize" on the control window meant
to maximize the "show window". Yo Yo Ma looked pretty good; his shirt
is a demin-like blue, and the Apple logo and a Web address were quite clear.
I looked at the Configuration (Properties) settings, but I didn't see
much I understood, and I only tried changing the Video tab. I couldn't
seem to ruin or improve things by doing so when playing the .MOV file.
So far, I see nothing that says ODIN is coming into play. Should I?
