Hello,
I just installed a new network interface card (NIC) in place of the one previously there
(the prior card started faulting at bootup such that it had a MAC address of
ffff ffff ffff
Anyway, the new card, a 3Com 3C905C-TXT model, seems to work well. The only
problem is that I notice upon bootup the system states that its using the card in 10Base
mode, not 100.
Does anyone know how to get this card into the 100 Mbs mode? I think that there is a
switch command that can be written into the PROTOCOL.INI file. I think the command
may be specific to the card.
Any help on this is muchly appreciated. Thanks.
