This NIC has worked for some folks. Make sure you have the most recent
version of the driver installed in \ibmcom\macs. Send a copy of e1000.os2
and e1000.nif my way, just so I know exactly which version you are
running. Also, a copy of lantran.log might be useful.

If the bindings don't show up correctly in the MPTS notebook, there is a
problem. Check the .nbk versions of the files I supplied. If there is a
mismatch, overwrite the .nbk version with mine. If that does not bring
things into sync, I'll take another look at protocol.ini. There may still
be something wrong with it.

The should be fine now that they are unique.

Not really. I just requires time to understand why it is failing. Of
course, time is often a scarce commidity.
