Steven,
I went to Netlabs.org, and found an Odin "release" build dated
2005-06-26. I downloaded that. Do you or anyone know if this build is
the "best", or whether I should go after a different date?

I modified my CONFIG.SYS as specified in the .INF file, and for the
DEVICE line, I included the -S: parameter, rather than copying the
OS2KRNLR.SYM file to the root of my C: drive.

I have now rebooted, and Win32K (in the default Verbose mode) claims it
was initialized successfully.

I ran ODININST.EXE out of \ODIN\SYSTEM32, and it completed with no messages.

I downloaded ODINAPP.ZIP, and installed it under the \ODIN directory.
Then I executed the test application, apparently with no problems (it
showed what the .INF document told me to expect).

Finally, I retested WarpVision. From Mozilla, my attempt to play a .WMV
again showed lots of "action", but no video. From a command prompt,
trying to play the .WMV gave me the same two error messgaes.

Trying to play the Apple advertisement (Quicktime movie) worked as
before, except that the "X" over the speaker icon did not appear. I
still didn't have any sound, and Yo Yo Ma's shirt still looked as if it
had sparkles or lights all over it.

Just for grins, and remembering that a year or so ago, we tried running
some Windows programs using the run time for Acrobat Reader, I started
FREECELL.EXE using the PE.EXE executable. It ran, but it doesn't have
true colors for the Ace thru 10 red cards (the face cards are OK, for
some reason). This was the same way things looked using ACROREAD.EXE.

Anything else I should do to "help" WarpVision work better?
Thanks,
Colin
