Admittedly I have >8 gig capability, but here is a my layout for your reading pleasure.
Since some programs assume C: as home I simply put all my applications (not associated with ECS) in
the C: partition.
Programs C: LVM JFS 11058
Data D: LVM JFS 50004
eCS 1.1 Main E: Compatibility Bootable HPFS 1004
[ V 1 ] *->F: Compatibility HPFS 122
pLogs L: Compatibility FAT16 902
eCS1.1 Maintenance M: Compatibility Bootable HPFS 1984
MemoryDump N: Compatibility FAT16 1106
Everything is logical except Boot Manager (not shown) which is primary.
The maint. partition is larger in case some third party utilities are desired.
The F: partition is an EIDE Flash Card interface that I use for school related backup.
I do have 1 gig of RAM so my Memory Dump is 1.1 gig out of an abundance of caution.
