I would guess that the software would also include some back door so that they
can hijack your system for their own purposes.

Probably not, most likely pirated software.
You did not say how you found out about these deals but if it is from some spam
you received I can guarantee it is illegal and has a back door for someone.
Never buy anything advertised in spam.
