Well hi there Jon,
Actually, the server is working better than it was. Steven Levine has
spent a huge number of hours over the past two weeks relocating the
server, repairing the hard drive subsystem (one of the drives died just
before he moved it), updating some of the software, applying needed
fixpaks, creating a trap dump partition and cleaning some bad domains
out of the mail lists.
Funny about that dead drive -- it was the one used for backups. We back
up the system by copying the working partitions to the backup drive (the
C: partition goes into the backup \C\ directory, D: into \D\). So when
the backup drive died we lost nothing.
