Forgot to mention how I generated the IPTRACE files. I did it
pretty much the way you describe in your April 2003 Mr. KIA
article, except I used a browser instead of a mail client. I set
Injoy to allow iptrace logging, then opened a command window to
invoke IPTRACE. Then I dialed in using Injoy, which connected
just fine as always. Next I opened Firefox and tried to reach
Yahoo, then Google. Again the browser acts as though I am not
connected to the Internet. I closed Firefox, then Injoy, then
stopped iptrace with CTRL-C. I followed this procedure with all
3 attempts described above. I renenamed iptrace.dmp so it would
not be overwritten on the next attempt, and finally produced the
output files I sent yesterday with IPFORMAT.
Thanks Again,
John
