I agree. At some point it gets too difficult to nurse along old (hard to support) hardware. If
you want to keep most of the box, you could install a new MB and transfer all of your
existing components over to it.
Alternatively, you might try investigating the fancard-combo ISA controller. Please see:

They don't have any specs on that card on that website. However, you could go to
