Well then,
_____
The Southern California OS/2 User Group once again had an outstanding
monthly meeting. Center stage first went to Steven Levine who fronted
an in-depth Q&A on UniMaint, the far-reaching OS/2 maintenance program,
including "just what is UniMaint good for?", menu items of special
interest and comparisons to other available maintenance software. A
tuned system is a fast system and SCOUG members have the fastest when
they follow Steven's suggestions.
Following the tuneup was two hours of software production featuring Greg
Smith. Greg continued his presentation from last month on how best to
port open source software to OS/2. If you can get your hands on the
source code, Greg's presentation puts you on the road to a compiled OS/2
executable. Code Jockey Smith continues this excellent presentation
next month.
Free info! Free coffee! Free donuts next month! Circle Saturday
August 20 on your calendar and Come To SCOUG!

How's _that_, all you lurking linguistic lackeys?
