Nah, this smells like too much of a coincidence to
me., esp. given this result on add'l. platforms. I'm
pretty sure it did not happen with 1.7.5 (Weilbacher
edition), which I still have on one of the eCS
desktops. George did not specify *which* 1.7 he has,
but I think we may be talking systemically about the
1.7.8. release here.

I just see from the VOICEnews announcement that 1.7.10
is out. (Guess they must have skipped over .9)
Whenever I get that installed, we'll see if this
behavior persists. In that case, it's time to check
the bugtracker, and maybe report something.
