Thought I knew how to do this, but have not been able to get firefox to open an htm or html file from the open as menu or a double click. Firefox is in the path and in the open as menu for htm and html files; all the associations have been set with assoced. All htm and html files have the firefox icon, but a double click or selecting open as->firefox raises the message, "Cannot fun firefox.exe. Make sure the file is an OS/2 or DOS program ... ." Firefox is the only browser on the system, installed as C:\PROGRAMS\FIREFOX\firefox.exe. The Unimaint applications panel doesn't list firefox, but lists MOZILLA with one key, Home. The Home key has C:\PROGRAMS\FIREFOX. Firefox works just fine in other contexts (e.g., MR2ICE). What have I overlooked? The only way to open these files is drag and drop.
Thanks,
Ben A
