Started up Warp 4 fp15 and got two messages during boot:
c:\mptn\protocol\ifndis.sys could not be found. Line 100 of config.sys
ignored. c:\tcpip\bin\vdostop.rdu could not be found. Line 106 of
config.sys ignored. The boot terminated with a c:\ prompt showing.
The file in the first statement does not exist in config.sys or the folder
specified. There is no vdostop.rdu in config.sys or the folder specified.
But there is a vdostop.sys in both.
I used con\alt\del to reboot and the boot went normally--neither of the
messages appeared.
I haven't reinstalled Warp 4 for several years. I just backed up and have
been deleting old files.
Will someone please tell me what is going on? Is Warp 4 just getting
tired and crochety? Or was what happened a random error?
TIA.
Jack
