I don't use FireFox (yet), so I can't say for sure,
but there is a separate utility called Profile Manager
that comes with the Mozilla distros on both of the
platforms where I use Moz. It is to be found in the
overall Mozilla folder. I'm guessing there may be
something quite similar in the case of FireFox. If
not, my next guess is that there would be some switch
to be invoked in running the main executable from a
command line . . . in which case you could make a
separate object for that. But it would be a much more
intelligent design choice on the part of the FF
developers (just my opinion, mind you) to go with the
dedicated utility, a la Mozilla.
