I understand and respect that. Still, we left the 1.2
boot on that box out of commission for Internet,
something it _wasn't_ prior to the Help Desk. I
wouldn't want to let this go until the NEXT Help Desk,
when I'll be out of town in any case. It's a good
thing there is still a functional, alternate eCS boot
there. Otherwise, I'd be stuck with the Evil Empire.
If you could just tell me something like "Overwrite
THESE 3 files with backups", I could be back in
business *in the interim.* Forget about solving the
Gigabit Nic until some more convenient time. I've
been cloning that drive on a periodic basis, so it's
very possible that I could retrieve suitable, earlier
versions of the appropriate files.

would do just fine. ;-)

Guess I'm more like that. Don't much like freezing
either, but prefer it to roasting, for sure.
