The Southern California OS/2 User Group once again had an outstanding
monthly meeting. Center stage first went to Steven Levine who gave an
in-depth tutorial on UniMaint, the far-reaching OS/2 maintenance
program, including menu items of special interest and comparisons to
other available maintenance software. A tuned system is a fast system,
and SCOUG members have the fastest when they follow Steven's
suggestions.

Following the tuneup was the software production hour featuring Greg
Smith. Greg continued his presentation from last month on how best to
port open source software to OS/2. If you can get your hands on the
source code, Greg's presentation puts you on the road to a compiled OS/2
executable.
