Sometimes I am. It's unpredictable.

If you count a long unused Compuserve account (which I
probably should get rid of -- though it does have an
ancient, primitive text-mode interface that one can
access with just about anything, all the way back to a
Tandy 100), I have 4 ISPs, and a few more mail
accounts than that. On the road, I may use MAIL2WEB
(rather slow, on even the fastest hardware), or
similar dedicated web interfaces offered by EarthLink
or Pac Bell. Of these, I believe that one is
proprietary, and the other one not.

Very rarely. An example would be during the periods
my
DSL was down.

At home, NS 4.61. It will be moving to Mozilla, but
I'm not sure how soon. Some tips I've received from
Ray and Colin should aid in that migration.

I will try to comply with Peter's request for some
test messages, but we are minus a few variables now.
A few days ago, I was using -- alternately -- either
some version of Internet Exploder or Netscape 7.0 for
Win, depending on the system that was available to me.
Right now, on this system, it happens to be only
FireFox 1.0.4 for Win. This is going out via the SBC
webmail service. So, take a look at these headers,
and you have your first sample.
