Thanks for your rapid reply.
I am digesting your information.

I had hoped to install SBC/Yahoo DSL without using Windows
but have now resigned myself to installing W98 for the
initial install.
I am happy to hear that at some I can connect later using
eCS.
The left hand of SBC has not the faintest concept of what
the right hand is doing. Nor do they seem to care.
