If you are using a web based email server while traveling you would be using a
browser which should not make any difference in how the email is formatted or
sent. If you are using someone elses email client then I could see having
problems. Using a web based server I would expect it to be your ISPs or
whomever you use for email. That should always work the same because you
should be using the same program all the time.
Do you use a web based email server when you are home? If not what email
client do you use?
My guess is you use an email client at home which works correctly and the web
based email server while traveling which appears to have a problem generating
correct email headers.
