I am among that small minority who use wget without
fully understanding it.
I have a dialup Internet connection and wget's -c
function (which I call the restart function) has
proved invaluable to me for large downloads.
Recently however I nave encountered sites which
seem to prohibit use of the -c function.
I get a msg about "not truncation xxx.xxx where
xxx.xxx is the file whose download I am attempting to 'restart.
Can and do some sites prohibit 'restarting'?
