I am trying to install OO1.1.4 over OO1.1.1

The install hangs. So I figure I'll uninstall v1.1.1 first. There
is no option in the oo1.1.1 install to offer an uninstall, or if
there is I never get to it because the splash screen sits for
minutes doing nothing (it's hung?).

I'd like recommendations on how to uninstall oo1.1.1 so I can
proceed to install 1.1.4
