There are some things in this world worth worrying about, this does
not seem to be one of them. I do not even think of Mozilla products
as being "installed". Some files are put in a subdirectory and one of
them is executed and it makes use of the others. If a DLL is used by
all versions it can be put in OS2\DLL and all versions can use it
rather than all having their own copy. I would rather they all have
their own copy, and for a period during development that was necessary
because they were changing with the EXE version.
The only reference to anything Mozilla I have in config.sys is of the
form:
SET MOZILLA_HOME=H:\MOZPROFILES
SET MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH=H:\MOZPROFILES\PLUGINS
All versions then are pointed to common mail, news and bookmark files
located in a neutral location, and can be shared cross platform.
Plugins are located as set above. Address and password files are part
of the profile and therefore shared by all versions that use that profile.
All this assumes you are only running one version at a time. There
are other games that can be played with the configurations but the
above will get you on line and be able to send and receive mail.
