Have you been able to examine the trap data I sent you?
I am coming to realize that my drive is dead. If I plug it into any
controller on the MB it gives a trap in OS2DASD. If I plug it into an
IDE controller plugged into a PCI expansion slot, it stops the boot
process at the point of verifying DMI Pool Data. Actually, If I set the
system to boot from a floppy (with a Maxtor drive utility on it), the
program cannot see the "dead" drive.
Unless you or anyone else around here has a particular interest in dead
drives, we are going to the dumpster.
