Besides avoiding version 5, I would try to avoid version 1 which has a 125
MHz CPU while the others have 200 MHz CPU. Bottomline: since I wish to
use non-Linksys firmware, I would get Linksys WRT54G versions 2 through 4.
Avoid version 5 and probably avoid version 1.
You may want to stockpile this router while the appropriate versions are
still available.
If this appeared twice on the mailing list my apologies; just came back
online after some time off the internet..............
