NetBIOS is chatty, by nature.

I haven't work with the a lot, but there are a couple of things you need
to look at. Compare protocol.ini and ibmlan.ini and make sure they are
consistent in how each is using adapter numbers. However, keep in mind
that xwlan is setting up interfaces dynamically, so you may need to use
netstat to figure out what the current interfaces are. I also suspect
that you probably need to restart the requester when switching interfaces.
