I can see what's different, but I don't yet know why. Your routing entry
for the alias is
172.19.20.21 192.168.2.1 255.255.255.255 0 UGHW3 lan0
Dani's is
172.19.20 172.19.20.1 255.255.255.0 0 UC lan0
Note the differing netmask.
When I do
ifconfig lan0 172.19.20.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 alias
netstat reports
172.19.20 172.19.20.1 255.255.255.0 0 UC lan0
Which matches Dani's.
Your setup.cmd looks syntactically correct, so it must be something else.
Try removing the -d 10 from the dhcpstrt line. Perhaps the alias ifconfig
is occuring before the lan0 interface is really up and running.
