Reported by no less than the estimable Walter Metcalf,
fer goodness sakes ! So, you see (Steven) -- we're
not hallucinating, or doing something wrong . . . .
If the presence of an installed extension is involved,
we're hosed on this one. But, I'm pretty sure I've
seen this happen in a Test Profile that is strictly
plain Vanilla, defaults only.
Incidentally, this bug report was called to my
attention by Peter Weilbacher, after I wrote him about
this issue. He said he'd be willing to track this
thing down and do something about it, *IF* we can get
very specific about identifying the trigger, and it is
reproducible. So, I guess it's time to run some
tests, folks.
Meanwhile, is there any news on the PostScript printer
bug ?
