I want to install a PCMCIA card in a Thinkpad T42 under eCS 1.2.
When I boot, I get an error message, unable to load Com.sys and Vcom.sys
from config.sys.
I then tried to install the PC Card director utility from my old Thinkpad
600E, but it didn't work.
When I boot I got the error message: unable to load ibm2ss14.sys in
Config.sys.
When I open the PC Card director utility, it says: "no pcmcia installed."
(or something like that).
Can someone point me to a more recent version of PC Card director that
will work on my Thinkpad T42?
Thanks,
Sandy
