Hi Steven,
You suggested
user_pref("network.online", true);
as the cure to the involuntarily Offline problem in
Mozilla.
I carefully entered this into Prefs.js for every
profile, back when you suggested it. Seemed to
address the problem, at least for awhile. Now I find
the Offline BUG has returned. In searching each
Prefs.js, I now see that this line has vanished from
all of them ! What gives ? I haven't touched those
files, since.
Looking around, I cannot find any USER.js files (nor
could I in the past), I don't know where they should
reside, or how one goes about explicitly creating
them, should this be necessary. I seem to recall that
these trump any Prefs.js, *if* a User file exists . .
. ?
