It should work, unless you are overriding CLASSPATH elsewhere. However,
there's really no need to set it via config.sys. It's easier to manage in
the program object or a script.

It sounds like you may have a problem with one of the PBM ini files.
These are in the Mailer subdirectory.

You should be able to do this. I'm not entirely convinced you are doing
what you think you are doing. That's why I still think you should
prototype your solution with a script rather than trying to get the
Program object right while working blind.

Also, you probably should check the various PBM logs. It's always
possible one of the PBM ini files has gotten corrupted and need to be
rebuilt.
