Yeah, it looks like they lopped out some options --
specifically the supposed option to open a .wpi
archive and extract files.
Why do I have some recollection of being able to open
some .wpi archives with ZTree, and at least confirm
what's in there, if not actually extract it ?

My attempt to contact him was a bit prior to that.

Uhm, that's what we do, Steven -- we who don't
actually understand what's going on. When memory or
attempts to find an answer prove insufficient, we fall
back on guesswork or assumptions. In fact, that's
probably the way most of the world handles it, most of
the time. Our great flaw, I'm sure. (Well, one of
them, anyway.)
