Let's hope they are gone.

FWIW, when checking driver versions, you should use the bldlevel command.
Not every executable contains build level data, but most drivers do. This
is usually more accurate than depending on dates and sizes.

For example bldlevel F:\OS2\BOOT\OS2LVM.DMD reports

Build Level Display Facility Version 6.10.480 Oct 6 2000
(C) Copyright IBM Corporation 1993-2000
Signature: @#IBM:14.096#@ IBM Logical Volume Manager
Vendor: IBM
Revision: 14.96
File Version: 14.96
Description: IBM Logical Volume Manager

and the file date is

8-22-03 13:13 31,483 0 OS2LVM.DMD

This is the same version that ships with eCS 1.2R, but the date differs.

Regards,

Steven
