This should be OK. The important thing is not to have any locked files on
the source or destination and to use the bootable JFS compatible versions
of the tools. If you boot from the 2.0 CD, you will be sure to run
versions of chkdsk and lvm that are compatible with bootable JFS.

There's an easier way. After you run lvm, chkdsk /f on the boot volume.
Lvm messes up the boot data that bootable JFS needs. The chkdsk restores
it. You do need to run the chkdsk that supports bootable JFS.
