If I tell eCS 2.0beta to install 4OS/2, I can open the drive object
where it was installed and run 4OS/2.EXE from its object. I can also
copy this object to eCenter and run 4OS/2. But, mirabile dictu, if I use
the program template from the Templates file to create an apparently
identical 4OS/2.EXE object, it will not run and causes a continuous
warning sound until I run TOP and kill it. If I do not let eCS install
4OS/2, but copy it to a disk from backup, it will not run from its
object. I then have to create a 4OS/2.CMD file to call 4OS/2.EXE. Does
this make any sense to anyone who can explain it to me?
Martin
