Does your mobo manual have a diagram of the board? If so, it should show
the battery location and maybe have the battery type If your eyes are
good enough to read it! :-))
The manual for one of my shows the battery as a CR2032 while the other
makes no mention of the type although the battery holder does show up on
the diagram. You might try Google using the mobo type and the word
"battery". You might also try the mfr's web site.
Digging as a last resort, with power off & UNPLUGGED.
