Based on a bit of Googling for

"SD Bus Host Adapter" Ricoh

and similar, I concluded that Ricoh invent a proprietary interface
protocol that makes the device somewhat incompatible with existing
drivers. The Linux community is working the problem but I didn't spend
enough time to say if they have implement working drivers yet.
