Harry,
To butt in on this subject, you will want to read the last paragraph,
and in particular, the last sentence, of page 5 of the eComStation 1.2r
Quickguide (the little paper booklet that came with the CD's). Page 7
shows the contents of the "online help".
You can open the file \eCS\Install\guidproc.hlp on CD #1 before
installing to get to the information you need. Chapter 1 talks about
migrating an existing installation. Every place that has migration
information has the string "(M!)" in bold in front of it.
After the install, you'll have a "Previous Desktop" folder on the
Desktop, and there are instructions for moving things from there to your
new desktop, and modifying the CONFIG.SYS to use statements from the
"previous" one.
Sounds like it oughta work.
