I plan to to the following:

	1.	Test out the new machine thoroughly, using the installed hard drive and
Windows operating system. I have a couple computer hardware testing programs on
CDs and I'll boot to each one and make sure the hardware is OK. Right now on my
current system those programs indicate that I have a motherboard cache problem.

	2.	In any case, I'll test out the new machine without any hardware
modifications

	3.	Next, I plan to replace some of the hardware on the new machine with
hardware that I have on my existing machine. I'll probably replace the SATA hard drive
with my two SCSI drives. And I'll probably use my Adaptec SCSI controller card. I'll
have to get and use a new video card (the new machine has PCI Express versus AGP
on my existing machine). I'll probably get a new NIC and sound card.

	4.	After making the hardware swaps and installation, again I'll test out the
machine, using the CD programs

	5.	If all goes well, at that point I'll install the ECS 1.2 upgrade, using
migration to perserve my existing desktop and installed programs.

	6.	I plan to continue retesting the hardware periodically to insure that the
motherboard cache problem (or any other) does not appear

I'm real puzzled by my inability to isolate the problem on my existing machine. I've
swapped out and/or replaced all the hardware that I can think out on it. All to no avail!
