Subject: SCOUG-Help: Corrupt Zip d/l's: Does this mean anything to you ?

Content Type: text/plain

Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit

Content-Disposition: inline

I've seen repeated failures for a month trying to d/l
some software from a site in CZ. The D/L Mgr. in Moz
will show 8 min.s, then 1:30, then 3 hours estimated,
then back to 5 min.s. It may stop dead (apparently)
at any of these, then eventually continue, with a new
estimate. Have you seen this before ? I've got DSL
here, but I'm thinking maybe severe bandwidth problems
at the other end . . . ?

When a Zipfile does come through from there, it is
corrupt, showing gibberish inside, and a ridiculously
large file size. Is that what happens with truncated
D/L's ?

I'm attaching a small sample. (It is OT and Dark
Side. Please excuse.)
