I was processing my spam before looking at my inbox so I did not see the thread.  My guess as to why your message got into the spam folder was because
 it was from charter.net (I get tons of spam from them).
 
 
Basically my statement stands, you do not report mailing list messages unless you are the list manager.  In your case you can report it because it is "your"
 ISP that has the problem.  However unless this is a consistent problem they
 will not do anything.  It seems that the current crop of email admins have no
 idea on how to properly stop an email server (my guess as to why the delay).  I
 have had email disappear for two weeks before reappearing.
